Lazing on a Sunday Afternon

We have icicles! Or I should say had them....knocked them off this evening before they became lethal. The 2 longest were about 9" long.

And the cute cat photo of the week, Polly cramming herself into the cat cube, just so Peedy can't get to the toys in there!

And in knitting news, I finished the newest Malabrigo hat. Has a 3" turn-up cuff (brim?) of garter stitch, the rest is stockinette stitch. Then I figured out how to attach earflaps and ties!! Didn't even follow any pattern or directions. I plan to make another hat with flaps, but no cuff.

Two more months till Vegas! I still need to check on the tickets I bought online. I keep thinking something will go wrong and we'll end up having to drive there.

Work is going well. At times time drags when waiting for calls, so I brought in a radio. BIG help!! I keep the volume low and listen to a c/w station. And I have a knitting buddy, my team mate, Alicia. If only we could knit while on the phones!!

Has any of the snow melted yet? Did you ever find your missing blue and white Malibrigo hat? Hope all is well.

Hello Karyn, I hope you had a delightful weekend (meaning that chocolate and knitting were somehow incorporated). My daughters are all on 1/2 days this week for conferences so this week will be shot to hell with driving back and forth. If you have a moment please add a line to everyone can see what you've been up to. What's the countdown to Vegas?

Love the hat. We have so not had a winter to wear anything like that. I think we've had about 3 weeks of below 20 weather. Not good. The bugs will be awful. To be extremely nosy, why ya goin' to Vegas? Just a vacation or business? Whatever the reason, hae a wonderful time.

Oh never mind. You're going in two months. RADD, reading attention deficit disorder.

I'm sorry. I'm such an airhead at times. Yes, there were two. It was early in the morning and I didn't even notice the other cd. Thanks so much. I never realized how truly versatile Gillian is. A friend of mine went to see her before we even knew who she was and he raved and raved about her. Now, I'm sorry I didn't go. Have a great weekend.

I hope you're checking your comments. I LOVE the cd's. I have no idea what the song names are, but honestly, it doesn't matter. I have listened to them both twice now. There is one song I especially love. It's about a rock house. Thank you again, so much.
